Us girls from work have been talking about it since summer started a "Playdate at the Lake". 6 adults: Dani, (our nanny), Angie, Kerri, Amanda, Heidi, Dawn and myself-- along with 10 of our kids! It was such fun. The kids got along great and many memories made! Dani, the kids, Chase( our dog) and I pulled up to the lake and I started unpacking the car and Olivia kept telling me the boat was gone and I totally blew her off. Well I finally looked out on the lake and sure enough the boat was not on the lift. I freaked out called Jon, and kept thinking what the heck are we going to do with no boat and 16 people? Turns out the marina had it and quickly returned it with in the hour. Everyone arrived at different times with yummy treats and excited kids!
Finally we got ready to take the pontoon boat out. This was the first time I took the boat out myself and I was quite nervous but with the help of Dawn we were soon out tubing around the lake. The kids had a blast!
We came back relaxed on the boat while the kids ran wild! Dawn and Angie decided that they should put in to teach Sunning Tanning 101 for the elective this year. Had some Berry Weiss and Margartias and we were good to go!
Dawn and Amanda started a great fire with the help of the tree branches that Kerri tore down like Tarzan. We roasted marshmallows and sang campfire songs-- okay not really come on! We did roast marshmallows though. It finally came time for the kids to go down 9 kids in one room on two beds and an air mattress and of course mine were the worst! It took laying with Liv, a hour of getting my eyes and nose poked to get her to sleep- Amanda endured the same situation with Kylee!
Then we had our snack circle and drank and talked for hours. Heidi, Ang and I wanted to go for a booze cruise after way too many bottles of beer, wine and margartias--Dawn, Amanda, Kerri and Dani were the voice of reason so we never set sail! Next time we will gals!
It was a great time and it was so nice to spend time with Heidi, Jeff ,Peyton and Beckham the next day and following Saturday!

The kids were awesome together and so fun to watch interact.
